Welcome to

First Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church

SUNDAY SERVICES

Our Sunday services are now in our church building at 11.30am each Sunday morning. The services are also live-streamed on our YouTube platform, and can be accessed by clicking on the link on the right of this page.

The service on Sunday coming, 9 May, will be led by Rev McDowell and the theme will be “Jesus Promises a Helper” (John 14 v 15-21).

At the end of the service the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated. (Tokens have not been issued for this communion service.)

Please join us as we worship - whether in person or on-line

Recognising the continuing threat from Covid 19, the services in church are subject to certain restrictions, including:

          -        social distancing (2m);

          -        face masks; and

          -        singing softly.

To facilitate live streaming of the services we ask that, if possible, those attending be seated by 11.20am.

 SEAT RESERVATION SYSTEM

To help us effectively manage the numbers of those who would like to attend services we operate an on-line seat reservation system using Ticketsource. Please make your reservations online by clicking the following link: TICKET SOURCE. On-line reservations for each Sunday service open at 7.00pm on the previous Tuesday and close at 10.00pm on the Saturday night before the service.

If you wish us to make a booking for you, or if you have any queries, please contact us on 07709930372.

MID-WEEK REFLECTIONS

Mid-week reflections continue on Wednesday 12 May with the fourth of a six-week series called For now – being the church in unusual times. Developed by the Presbyterian Church in Ireland the series encourages members to be practical and creative, in this Covid season of church life, in developing what is possible ‘for now’. This week’s theme is “Encouraging young people”. The reflections are available from 7.00pm each Wednesday evening.

ZOOM SUNDAY SCHOOL

Zoom Sunday School continues on Sunday mornings at 10.30am.

This year our Youth and Children’s Project is supporting Hope 365, a local charity working with street kids in Ethiopia. Donations for this Project will be received up to 23 May.

CHURCH FINANCES

At this difficult time, we are especially grateful for members' support for the Church's work. If you are able to contribute to the work of the Church, you can do so by taking out a Standing Order in favour of the Church, or by posting your contributions to our Treasurer, Joe Bingham. Details are in the Church Bulletin
